Nice job, as always. I love these discussions. I find it very cool that someone thinks about this show in the same way I do!

I took a look at that scene with Jo and Blair sitting on Jo's bed. It looks to me like that the case in between them is actually a board game. You can see them both taking turns rolling dice. It's very cute the way they both hop on the bed together, and sit so closely to play a game together.

The thing I notice in the episodes that don't focus on them is that the scenes they are in they are usually doing something together, and getting along famously. I used to watch this show when I was little, and it's scenes like this which made me feel that their friendship was "special", the way that they were always together. Only as I got older did I realize how "special" it was!

I think it is some kind of game Jo and Blair are playing on the bed (heh), too. But it doesn't look at all familiar. But even with the closeness being brought about by a game, it's still cute!

I love Jo shooting those guys down without batting an eye. Heh.

The Jo/Blair stuff in the background during the competition scene is great. Especially at 7:30, when it seems that Jo isn't paying enough attention to Blair for her liking, and Blair gives her a hip bump. At least, that's what it looks like to me.

And while Tootie and her partner dance, Jo has her arms crossed and a little scowl on her face, bopping her head to the music. So cute!

Playing games on the bed... I should have put that in the "potential fic" section. :)

You're right, I see that hip bump too. I interpreted that as kind of a "hey, dance with me" thing. Which inspired me to a write a fic.

It looks like they're playing backgammon. I watched that scene just to figure it out. Heh.

Great report. That scene on the bed is totally a couple moment, playing backgammon is just an excuse. And I noticed the background action too, I had to replay it over and over. There's something definitely going on there.

Thank you. I also just noticed that Natalie is standing nearby in that last scene, too -- to Jo's right, our left -- but neither Blair nor Jo seems to notice her. They're too into each other.
