Yeah, art school seems the way to go. I'm going to double major in history, and i'm not worried about that, but applying to the art school terrifies me. I think i'm gonna get rejected, but i have to at least try.

If you can get into UT I don't think you'll have trouble getting into the art school. I didn't even have to present a portfolio when I applied. No worries.

Did you transfer in? I know freshman don't have to have portfolios, but i think transfers do.

I did not transfer, but my friend TJ did. She transferred from the art history department, though so that's kind of different. But she didn't have a super-awesome portfolio, it was mostly stuff she did in a beginning studio class. Pretty simple.

I think you can do it. I've got your back.
