you can't take the sky from me

Whew.
What a weekend. The whole, 'Oh we have time to pack' relaxing on Friday.. then the big rush to pack on Saturday morning.. the 2-hour car ride with a bunch of sick people.

The scariest part was when we got to my grandmother's and she was just lying on the couch under blankets, cause she's almost always up and greeting us. But she felt bad almost all of Saturday, then a bit better Sat. evening (we went out for dinner anyways. Happy Birthday dinner, to the gramma who couldn't actually be there. Yay ^__^;;) then Sunday she felt bad again so my mum and uncle took her to the hospital.. after calling about 3 different numbers to try and talk to my grandma's doctor. Haven't heard back yet, dunno if she's home yet or not, but we'll see. When a woman learns to swim at about 65, and is still going strong at 85, I'm sure a little illness won't be too life-threatening. ^___^

So yeah. Happy Unfortunately Unpleasant Birthday to you, Gramma.

It rained the whole drive home ~_____~; and most of today. Come on, sunshine! We love you!

Word of the week : Götterfunken

In other news. First BPC practice over and done with. It was pretty fun; 's been at least a year since I was in an actual chorus. And these people are good. :3 it's really neat. And tiring. But neat.
And Sandra is nice, as is Zack, who is a tenor, which means I'm now rather outnumbered in range on the rides over to the practice hall. Ah well.

(actual meaning of Götterfunken : ...not..sure. The light of god, or 'spark of god'. It's a lot funnier not knowing, eh?)

Now totally an official Snuggler. Life can be pretty sweet.
