Thursday : Trip to Toronto was good fun, hangin' round with Mawkefs and Lokies. LATE. FAT CHINAMAN ALWAYS LATE. CANNOT FIT THROUGH SKINNY DOORS. XD But yes.. found presents for my family, fluffy things for myself, had a few nice meals with good friends. :3 (almost)All things making Foes happy. And funny pictures/videos. Muahaha.
Friday : Coming home, train ride was fine, but everything since then has been a bit surreal. Apparently we had a big snowstorm in the area Thursday night, broke many many trees, pulled down power lines, etc. So the house was out of power for a few days.. got it back Sunday afternoon. :3
But we had running water and the phone line working the whole time, so there was no real hardship. It makes me feel a little bad, though; it's sort of a lowland area around home so a lot of people in town had flooded basements. :D We don't even HAVE a basement, so no problems with that for us. But yeah, Dad went out and helped neighbours and friends with their mechanical/electrical problems.. I got Saturday and a bit of Sunday with mah Vickies :3 So yaey. Much luffs <3
Saturday : Still no power at that point, they had power at work but I wasn't scheduled to come in anyways so yay, day off, sitting around house in pyjamas ALL DAY. Suckas. X3 I'll admit it, I loved it.
Sunday : Hangin out again, relaxin, etc.. Power back, yay!
Today : Got to sleep in :D didnt work today either. Five days off in a row. So relaxing and fun to have time again. Anyways, went for a walk with Dad, he wanted french fries so we went to get those for lunch.. then came home and worked on cleaning up the back yard ;_____; so many branches to haul out, but we finished them all eventually, stacked up and done. My shoes are ruiiined from it, but I walked up after to get new winter boots and new work shoes. They are quite good.
And in the future, if I make references to doing things "the MAN's way", it's from today. Just..
..yeah.
Oh, and our cat died. Mum is a bit sad, but we all pretty much knew it was coming. R.I.P. Midnight, you had a good run (20 years. Pretty impressive, actually).
Anyways. Yeah, I'll be sending out my things-people-can-get-for-Foes Christmas list for people, cause I know you never know what to get. And cause Loki said so. ;____;
Speaking of which, Loki, I got your letter, and wow. It is, I must say, pretty awesome.
People should also send me their Christmas lists. :| I never know what to get for most people either. PATRICK.
I also don't know what to make for a Halloween costume :( and Dave wants to go to Treats & Beats (Tricks & Beats?? Whatever it was called) in the Falls on the 28, which would be costume as well. So... yeah. *needs costume ideas which are dance-able, not too complex or expensive*
