After the municipal elections on March 7th, the Zeeland town of Goes voted in majority for the Labour Party. The elections had been rescheduled from March 8th, because the Dutch reformed party - presbyterians, fanatical protestants - insisted that "Wednesday is a day for prayer", so they could not be expected to vote on the day. On the *Wednesday* after the voting, the Reformed Party, the Christian Democrats and the right-wing Liberal Party in Goes secretly agreed to form a majority in the city council and completely bypassed the Labour party, the party that had received most votes from the citizens.

How hypocritical do these people get? They can't vote on Wednesdays because of their religion, but apparantly it's perfectly okay to abuse democracy on whatever day they see fit as long as they get to impose their extremist ideas on us. It's disgusting.
