Hey, do you know about festivids? I stumbled upon this yesterday while hunting for some new people to friend*. It's essentially the vidding version of Yuletide, a holiday exchange of vids for small fandoms omg!
I haven't been able to watch all the vids yet, but the master list makes me incredibly giddy. The Big Bang Theory! White Collar! Forever Knight! Profit! Twin Peaks! Sound of Music! Slings and Arrows! FACTS OF LIFE YOU GUYS. So much more! And also, this eye-opening one for Glee, which, wow. How did I never notice how many times Will and Finn touch each other? Probably because my 'ship of choice on that show is definitely Santana/Brittany (duh), but this vid proves that the show 'ships Will/Finn hardcore. And it's a ton of fun.
Try as I might, there is just no good segue from show choir to, um, the Vietnam War, so I'm just going to give it up and move right along to the actual point of this post, which is this vid for China Beach:
That show CHANGED MY LIFE FOR REAL. It probably changed your life, too. It most certainly changed television. Timely, in the wake of all this discussion regarding the legacy of the 10PM Drama. Also, this vid destroyed me. Oh, god. MCMURPHY.
