You have to learn as you go along. As far as the aging thing...the guy could have thought you were a veteran of this current war, too. You are buff enough to look like you're from the military. You may look a little older than you are but not too much older. And you shouldn't worry, everyone thinks Nathan is older than he is, too. Cheer up!
Watch some soap operas! That probably won't help on what TO do, but maybe it'll give you some ideas. At least of what not to do. Might also lower your iq. Heehee :p
