Yeah. But the offer's been made, which, even if they don't accept it - which I'm hoping they won't - should make any negotiations with them in the future easier.
...more importantly, I'm worried about the fact that Val even suggested we assist with the fire. It's clearly a long way outside of the scope of our normal activities, so... it's likely she had a reason. A specific reason, I mean, more than "garner goodwill".
Hmph. I hate being left in the dark, especially when it is apparently my duty to know these things now.
... The advocate of White Fang made an announcement about 'volunteers' being appreciated. I suppose if they get enough of those, we won't have to help out, even if we offered. The fire doesn't look that impressive to me either. It shouldn't be a problem to take care of it.
... Again, I would like to know what the hell is going on if I'm supposed to help. Hmph.
If you're referring to my taking the initiative on that offer, I was simply following Val's instructions, which were visible to you, as well. As was my message to Treize. If you meant her motivations, though.... I couldn't agree more.
...true. I'm simply hoping to avoid work that lacks a tangible benefit. We aren't running a charity, after all.
Yes, no, I'm not talking about your actions. I would just like to know what is going on to 1) put us in charge, 2) start a fire and 3) require us to help White Fang as though we were in kindergarten.
If I didn't have enough discipline to fulfill my duty properly I would revolt at this unorganized situation.

...right.
So.
I've already left a message for Treize, about the fire, as you can see.
...I suppose we should find out if we have any other contracts currently active, so we can start prioritizing activities.

Right. White Fang is dealing with the fire so I don't think we have to worry about that for now.

Either Vincent or Val is, in some way, responsible for that fire. The more I think about it, the more sure I become. And, for the third? Guilt.
Hn.
...as a side note. I support what you're trying to do, with Treize, but please try to be a bit less overt.
