Your comments about Storm are so on-point. She's like the worst kind of backhanded compliment: a beautiful black woman of black American and black African heritage with long, straight white (or should I say platinum blond?) hair and blue eyes.

It's a bit like how they decided to give Green Lantern (John Stewart) on the Justice League animated series green eyes because his face wasn't distinctive enough without them. Granted, GL doesn't wear a mask, but that didn't seem to be a problem for Superman or Wonderwoman.
