The Whole Famn Damily
Yesterday Rose stayed at my house. I had drained the hot tub, and she spent a good part of the day cleaning it and cleaning off the patio. Thanks Rose!!
I got home at a little after 4pm and the rest of the clan was supposed to already be at my house so we could have a family dinner and visit for a bit before sending Rose off on the ferry to catch her plane.
Well..... My older brother kinda lives in his OWN TIMEZONE so things we a bit behind schedule and frantic. We pulled it off and got Rose to the ferry in time. We all stood waving until she was out of sight.
Sad to see her go. She is one of my most favorite people in the world, and she lives at the other end of the continent!!
While at the ferry terminal, I ran into a teacher I used to work with. We got to chat a bit and catch up. Nice to see you Nancy!
Came home and had a great phone conversation with another favorite person in the world. I think we both got a lot off our chests concerning our present situations. I felt a lot better, and I hope she did too.
Lots of tears and talking - but I think it must have opened up the cosmic flow because this morning I got three emails out of the blue from people just sending good thoughts to me, and then I got a similar message through an early morning text from a friend. And a couple of touching conversations through LiveJournal messaging.
Thank you Universe and all the good people in it!!
I am feeling good about this day! (Except being at work and dealing with all of THIS crap!!! But I'll be heading home before you know it and maybe I can even get into my newly cleaned hot tub tonight!!)
