Monday morning...

Had a very busy and full weekend.
Friday, came home after work and after aj's band practiced a little we loaded up the van and headed out to Port Townsend for their show. The venue was small, the crowd was smaller, but the music was even better than the last show (constant improvement!!) I didn't really get to listen to the first band because we were unloading equipment and setting things up. The second band (...Is Electric) was pretty good. This was my first time hearing them. They were pretty tight. Aj's band (Vera, the Ghost) played next. They are getting better every time they play! The final band (Chyeah! Chyeah!) was WILD!! They were so much fun to watch and listen to! Hung around for a little while, then I headed home (Aj and his band stayed in town and headed out to Port Angeles for another show on Saturday - which apparently was FANTASTIC!!)
Saturday I spent most of the day playing guitar and singing. We practiced for something we're doing at church. Had about the most fun I've ever had playing for church stuff. We just let loose and jammed on stuff and let ourselves CREATE. After about 5 and a half hours I finally headed home to eat and relax. (I forgot to mention that I also had to load and unload my own gear for the church stuff - guitar, amp, PA, speakers) So I was already feeling pretty beat.
Aj rolled in about 2am from Port Angeles.
Sunday morning we headed off to church and the music went really well! Once again, we just let things flow (Which has been a problem in the past because so many of the church musicians are VERY tied to the written music and do lots of counting out the notes, etc.)
Hung out and talked for a bit after church, then Aj and I ran some errands and shopping, picked up his dad's car for me to use while mine goes into the shop, sat in the hot tub at home for a bit, ate dinner, and went to bed!!!
5:10am came around very early for me, but here I am at work. Tired, exhausted, but happy from a fun, creative, and productive weekend.
