I've been swallowed by The Hunger Games world, nothing else is important, no even True Blood (Sookie who?), no even Franklin & Bash...
I KNOW! Is unthinkable, but it happened! I'm so sorry, guys!
I don't hate Peeta anymore, I actually developed a crush on him during Catching Fire and I've even had a whole speech sorted out where I explained to him that Katniss & Gale were a thing and he just had to accepted and move on, like with me, because my delusion has no limits, but at the end of Mockingjay, I had to give that speech to myself, because, well, Katniss & Peeta will be a thing forever! This book is so soul-crushing but I love it, and it's scary how much I can follow Katniss reasoning everytime...
Talking about Mockingjay, Suzanne Collins, you're amazing,
you should read your own books aloud more often! I love you more than J.K. Rolling, WHAT? I just said that, bombs dropping everywhere! LIKE IN DISTRICT 12, omg, everything is related to THG!!
I loved the southern accent Katniss is suppossed to have, WHY didn't they did that for the movie???
Also, The Hunger Games movie sucked, and I don't blame the actors (they did what they could with the script they had) nor the script-writer, nor the director. I blame the studio for deciding from the go that the adaptation should be PG-13! WFT?? I know, that rating means more viewers because most parents don't want their kids watching R rated movies and this means MOAR MONEY, but, SERIOUSLY? HAVE THEY READ THE BOOK BEFORE SIGNING THE CONTRACT?? DID THEY UNDERSTAND IT? IT IS NOT A PG-13 BOOK, SO WHY THE HELL DO YOU MAKE IT INTO A PG-13 MOVIE?? Give me reasons that don't involve money, oh, wait, YOU CAN'T, BECAUSE IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY IN THE FILMMAKING INDUSTRY!!! I don't even know why am I studing this career! Oh, right, because I LOVE IT!
Now I'm reading
Mark reads The Hunger Games Trilogy, and is much more amazing than Twilight because he actually likes the book! In a related note, I found out THG fans are called Tributes, which WHAT, but I guess it's better than Twihards...
On a different topic, today is my mom's birthday and I baked her my first cheesecake ever. Not to brag about it (which is exactly what I'm gonna do) but even though it wasn't as pretty as the one she bought on the bakery (my cake was a surprise, she didn't know and we ended up with two cheesecakes), mine defenitively tastes better! If I wasn't an aspirant filmmaker, I'd be a baker...like Peeta, OMG, EVERYTHING IS CONECTED TO THE HUNGER GAMES!
