On Friday...
Morning Satada
On Friday I finally met one of my heroes, former Sudanese slave, author and abolitionist Francis Bok. It was an excellent event, life-changing. This means many things for the SOS in Sudan Club. Also, the dude is about 7.5 feet tall, so its crazy!
We had a wonderful Mission Class Friday Night, an intense study of Sufism. It was wonderful.
Then I found out who the earlier evening Satada was for, and Alysha and I went to go visit Bapa uncle at St. johns. He was finally out of pain but his system was shut down 80%. It was most emotional.
On Saturday...
Morning Satada
Safa'i
Student Council
and Finally Mission Class, where I found out that Uncle is in stable condition once more
Waez!
Went to the Grant 100 year festival. Which was Amazing!
Waez again!
On Sunday...
Last Day of Morning Satada, this marks the end of waking up at 2AM and falling asleep at 10pm.
I also found out that Uncle passed away last night between 11 and 12. May his soul reunite with Allah. Ameen.
Finally just woke up like three hours ago. To bust out the homework.
A couple hours ago I met my cousin, Alnur, online. Aside from meeting him in Canadia, this is the first time we've talked.
AIM does wonders for family relationships.
