Headed out today for a bit of a ride. I was planning longer, but Denali was go-go-go for the first three miles and I was worried she had worn herself out. HA. Not quite. She tried to buck me off at the 7 mile mark. And did a rear/spin just after 4 miles because a piece of wood was GOING TO GET HER.
To say the least, while I know Denali needs some fitness, I think she's in a wee bit better shape than I have been giving her credit for!
Any how, this ride was more about working and climbs than about galloping or trot sets. Not that it stopped her from wanting to trot out whenever she could (no, seriously). To say the least, we won't be going bitless any time soon this summer.
Eyed a few other trails for later. All in good time :)

And a bit of oak trees here for you while we headed back down alongside the creek in the lower corner canyon area:
and a random video, just because :)
