The now timid waves inch their way up the beach,
And the wind barely blows in from the timeless sea,
The sun is gone, and the clouds reign supreme,
As i tread, leaving no mark on the world but my footprints.
I remember a time when the waves crashed down,
And the wind would gust wildely all around,
The sun would shine bright, the clouds lost forever,
But that was with her, now alone i stand.
The sound of a smile has been foreign for months,
And I havent seen my shadow since the day my heart sunk,
