Sooo, just came back from dinner at McCormicks. I ordered a dish that included clams and pasta. The pasta was rather blandly flavored and watery, and the clams tasted far too dead. I don't know if you can recall the smell of the beach when there has been a death tide of tiny crabs that litter the shoreline. They tasted like how that smells. I've had clams before, and never have they tasted that way. Here's to the E.R.!

I really am feeling rather resolved about getting this tattoo of mine. I want, however, for the "O" to be pink with a black stroke around it. Chaya agrees. I myspaced Hannah about it (upon direction from Jenny), and she's all for it. So I just need to figure out where I want it and how big, and then I think I'm set to go. One of our friends from Seattle is coming down to PDX to get a tattoo, and I think I just might join her. Who knows, we'll see. I tend to chicken out at the last second when it comes to this sort of thing.

I've decided it would be more than needed to get a letter of recomendation from Carol Egan. Can you imaging the leverage that little puppy would bring? I talked to Kalie and she said her mom would probably be up for it, I just need to provide her with some background (like a resume) so that she's not blindly writing fluff for a dean of admissions.

I'm rather depressed over otherwise exciting news. I thought Mitch would be coming home for his birthday, but he decided against it. However he did reassure me that he'd be home for spring break to help his mom and Spencer pack up and move out of their house. Well, it turns out Nick and Cheng gave him a call and invited him to join them in a trip to New York for spring break. His mother agreed to fund him in this endeavor, and of COURSE he wants to go. The trip sounds fantastic and it's awesome that he's getting yet another chance to go, this time with absolutely no parents or competition being cumbersome. But of course this means I probably won't get my chance to see one of my closests friends for another large handful of months. Although, I think I convinced him to take a trip down to Portland on a long weekend of sorts.

SPEAKING of long weekends. I think all my talk of Disneyland has enticed my parents. My mom keeps asking Chaya when the next time she has a three-day weekend, so that we can go down to Disneyland or Universal Studios! 0_0 OVERLOAD!

Okay, time to use the bathroom...
