there are adorable little kittens living in my grandparents' yard and they make my heart smile. i miss you Tummy and Tsundere and the one that kept running away from me cuz Grampa stepped on you once and you're scared.
i did not have a shitty time in Louisiana as i thought i might (can you blame me for the defeatist attitude? my mom started talking of alcohol as soon as the plane landed.). even though it turns out i wasn't expected on this little venture and i probably could've gotten out of it. i'm pretty sure this thing was just my mom feeling guilty that she couldn't see her ailing parents very often and wanted to subject herself to my grandmother's bitching as penance.
i'd like my period to come ASAP. i have shit to do next week. Warped Tour will be no fun with cramps and concert-venue toilets. then we go camping and i don't wanna ruin our awesome guy trip by being a little bitch who can't even go in the water. i may need to try the cup...
Sherlock was great, but i'm once again pissed at how Brits only produce a few episodes a season. it's a goddamn cliffhanger and i want more now. i'm also disproportionately annoyed at Moriarty's voice because it slides between British and American and i'm not sure if he's doing it on purpose. i think Sherlock would be better as an original series because of the little liberties they took with characterization, but that could just be me being a canonfag because i love the books. i utterly love Sherlock's character... but he seems kinda far from the namesake (he wasn't that indifferent to human life... and where did this feud with his brother come from?). Mycroft may as well be a whole new character. pfft... more people mistake Holmes and Watson for gay than JD and Turk.
the scene where he shoots the wall cuz he's "bored" is awesometastic. i want that GIF.
anyone else feel like some Hetalia fans take it waaaaay too far with character association? i mean... i was on some Eddie Izzard vids on YouTube, and i had to cringe every time it was brought up. because it was on every fuckin' clip.
i think an intervention is in order... i like the series too, but i'm capable of enjoying history lessons and nationality caricatures without seeing the characters in my head. tone it down, guys, or you'll feel really stupid about it later.
