My Gram Is Home With My Aunt While I Look For Icons
So today is so much better! The three of them all made it home after 1am, and so we did not get to bed till well after 2am. I swear I had to force myself out of bed at 9:45 this morning. I was so tired, but like heck will I sleep my morning away! So my Gram is still not feeling great. She has a kidney infection, so she is on a few meds that really have her zonked out. I feel bad. She has just been taking it easy all day and we are hoping that in a few days time she will be back on her feet. I really hope she is because I want to take her and my Aunt out for a late mothers day lunch.
Oh, and yes! My Aunt Shirley came today! *does a little happy jig* She was a little late getting here, but around 2pm she pulled up and I ran to greet her. She said she will be staying at least a week. She even brought me some really soft blue yarn and new needles! So very nice. After a while we went to the store together and she told me how mad she is at my Uncles (my grandma's sons) because they don't help with Gram at all. They leave her total care and well being up to Tyler and I. I don't mind doing things for her, but it is a lot of work. I mean, Tyler is barley 19 and I'll be 21 in October, so there are a lot of things we can and can't do for someone her age and in her condition. Anyway, My Aunt plans on having a long and rather nasty chat with both my Uncles while she is visiting.
Also, my mom called me today. She got my mothers day gift and loved it.. First she told me the thing broke in the mail. Then after I apologized, she said she was only kidding. You have got to love mom that jokes ^_^
Oh, and another bit of happiness! I had just enough left over on that card to upgrade my account ^_^ More icons are in the near future!
Now then, I have to get going and help my Aunt with dinner. Hope everyone is enjoying the day!
