Yay me!
I just installed a second monitor on my home desktop system. I've been wanting a second monitor for a while now. Because my teaching involves so much use of a course management system (e.g. Blackboard, WebCT, Desire2Learn, etc), having a dual monitor setup really helps with grading electronic files that students upload to the dropbox. I can have the student's file open on one screen, and have the CMS feedback page open on the other. I have a dual monitor setup at work between my office laptop and my monitor, but having one at home too will mean that I don't always have to go into the office to grade.
