Surprise Holmes

Apparently one of my students got hold of the Welsh Sherlock Holmes film from last year, the one starring Gareth David-Lloyd, for his essay on Holmes. Was that version as bad as I'd heard? I'll have to ask him.

It was dreadful. Only worth watching for the wtf factor.

Friends refer to it as "Sherlock Holmes Not the Good One."

I quite liked it, though I adore bad films. Its use of ACD's tropes is interesting, as well as the meta with both RDJ film and British telefantasy.
