drawble and drabbles?! XD; - Paninya/Al, G - Save the First Dance for Me

Winry had indicated that Paninya might like the way Al was looking these days the next time they met. He'd been resting up and recovering his health and on top of that, his new armor-less style had taken a sharp turn for the dapper. Apparently his new look was receiving compliments left and right.

So that had gotten her curiosity piqued. She'd liked Al already when she hadn't even seen his face. Maybe now she was going to face some joking competition from Mr. Garfiel for his attention (apparently there were other admirers from farflung places like Creta and Xing).

He was as nice as she remembered and, wow, Paninya was glad that Ed was the Elric Winry wanted because Al would sure be a catch and she would hate to be feel the pressure toward competition against her closest friend.

Paninya liked her life as it was now, more or less respectable but without much tying her down either, but there was a small part of her imagination that skipped ahead and considered it: Mrs. Paninya Elric and Mrs. Winry Elric, sisters-in-law!

It was a long time ago that she'd lost her parents, but first Mr. Dominic and then...

"I heard there's some really raucous dancing at this festival?" Al asked- he had to lean in close because of all the noise (talking, laughing, music, the clanking of work in automail shops that embraced the holiday not as a chance to close up but to keep on working and show off in front of the festival tourists).

"Yeah, it's wild and fast!" Paninya smiled, "Do you think you're up to it?"

"'Wild and fast,' huh?" There was a thrill-seeking glint in his eye, that sort that Ed got way too often, "Sounds like what I've been training myself for."

Thank you! I started out with the drawing first, but then it was turning out to be a kind of complex thing to draw properly without any preliminary sketching (smart one, self! ^^;). I thought I might be able to sketch a small scenario if I expanded it out by writing instead.
