The clothes he wears look like something that came out of 1950s America, but he's wearing them in the fashion that most of his counterparts from Xing would and appears to have his sword with him

I come from Xing! I had traveled to Amestris before I was taken to Mayfield, however.

It's possible in theory. Apparently we are all trapped here, though, so I'm not sure if they can be explored.

Trapped? Hm... I haven't been near where the city limits would be [mostly because he has no idea how to get to them], so I'm not sure if that's the case. Still, even if we do manage to leave the city... we're stuck in this strange place, so I think it'd count as being trapped anyway.
