This definitely didn't look like Xing. Was this some sort of test or trap? She'd have to stay on her guard so she wouldn't disappoint her family. It wouldn't be good for her to fail here if they expected her to be a full-fledged guardian.]

Yeah, here's a nine-year old Ran Fan. She's still pretty good at martial arts but not nearly as proficient as her older self. She's also not quite as defensive and reserved yet, but she's still pretty serious the vast majority of the time. Also, she's stuck with my headcanon and thinks Ling is really annoying at this point :) She can't say that, of course.]
