He'll wander for a bit, clearly confused, but intending to be making his way back to where he remembers the secret passage underground to be. Or there abouts, where it should be.]

[She winced, expecting the blast but nothing happened. Nothing. And when she looked around here she was...in Central, an undamaged and lively Central. Riza couldn't help but stiffen some. This was, all things considered, wrong. She reached for one of the last guns she had warily--she wasn't sure this was even real-- when a voice caught her ears. Riza paused turning towards the voice.]

Edward.

[Could it be Edward? She chewed on this, taking this moment first to wait for reaction before conclusion, all the while keeping a hand ready to move fast for that gun.]

[Blinks, turning at the familiar voice.] Lieutenant? Where is everyone? What's going on?

[And as he takes in the sight, the state of her, he couldn't help but frown, a soft hiss escaping his lips.]

What...happened?

[Amber eyes sharpened some. What happened? Edward had seen her. He at least knew what had happened, then why. She paused closing her eyes as she put a hand on the handle of the gun. After a moment she spoke.]

I'm uncertain.

Edward, I want you to tell me the first day I met you. Why did I meet you.

[He opens his mouth, then closes it at the request. Wondering why, what was going on. If she was asking that, it almost seemed like she was being a little too cautious, as if Envy were still a threat? But, that couldn't be, Envy had...he'd seen it happen.]

....It was years ago. After Al and I had tried to bring Mom back. The Colonel, Mustang, was out recruiting for State Alchemists and went to our house and saw....then found us at Granny's.

[Listening to him Riza visibly relaxed, dropping the hand reaching for the gun. At the very least this was Edward, but the fact he didn't know...]

[She glanced upwards, towards where she last knew the command building was. This too was in tact and she sighed.]

May I inquire into what you were doing before this?

[Riza knew this was wrong, and it was evident Edward and her weren't from the same place. She had to figure out what this was, but she couldn't allow her worry or thoughts to show. Riza kept her face neutral as she turned her attention to the boy. There was no reason panicking him yet.]

[Ed gave a small nod, following her gaze to the command center.]

...I was underground, then that scientist...he activated an array. There were- are five, each of the labs around Central....I think it was to get the "sacrifices"....? The last I remember is hearing the Colonal yelling as I was Taken.

[Rather there was shock at his words or not, Riza didn't allow it to show. This was Edward, but an Edward from her past. She looked carefully away in thought.]

...but how exactly is this possible?

[The words aren't said in a fashion that she questioned what he said but the situation they were in. For now, Riza chewed on what to say and not to say. Even if passing civilians stared warily, all things considered there was a blood covered woman there.]

[Because he had no idea May had stemmed the bleeding and there is blood and it looked like she had been stabbed in the neck, for crying out loud. And he knows if anything happened to her, Mustang would be furious. Besides the fact, he had come to care about her over the years in his own way.]

[She had no reason to hide this, as the aftermath was quite evident. For now she closed her eyes.]

Afterwards the girl from Xing had helped, but I was separated from the Colonel and the others for some time. When I met with everyone again...

[She stopped here for now, pulling together what to say. This Edward didn't know yet--about any of that, and sadly in between finding the Colonel on the surface and after him being taken... she knew little. ]

I found out the Colonel was blind and the two of us went to make 'Father' use his stone.
