That's because she's been using Ed's dorm bathroom (which also might smell of a foul something).
For potion Experiments.
Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Blame Wizard!Ed. Please. He's the one who got her the potionmaking book for her birthday.
So have a Noa walking down the street, holding a very very VERY gross-smelling bottle in her hand, even if it's sealed with a cork. She's holding it VERY carefully...cradling it. Brownie the Eagle and Daddy's pocketwatch are both in her dress pocket, and kept away from the potion so they don't get dirty or wet.*
