*He's wearing a school uniform, his backpack slung over his shoulder. And yes those are real cat ears and a tail he has. He's late for class so he's running down the hall. When he turns the corner, he's in Central. He spots the sign but doesn't really read it. He thinks it's just an illusion

Those are real, aren't they? Where I come from you don't see people with those. I go to different worlds on hunting trips but you're the first one I've seen that has ears and a tail! I'm used to seeing zombies, sins, and vampires. My name is Mei!

[Sticks out her hand for him to shake]

*He's hesitant at first. He looks at her and finally after a few seconds shakes her hand.*

*Mei is starting to scare the hell out of him. His tail sways back and forth behind him as he looks at her curiously.*
