Well... most people who look like you.... are a Heiderich.

One... umm... one of them is actually my g-girlfriend.

...and there are also a lot of men with that name too, one of which is from the same world as me.

I think you're actually the first one I've met that didn't have the last name Heiderich, actually.

.....!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Alfons gasps.*

You mean there's a version of me who has a boyfriend?! Dad won't let me even look at boys that way until I'm older.

...

The first one without the name Heiderich...?

But Edward has the last name Heiderich! How can anyone want to be related to that jerk?

....most Edwards are Edward Elrics. Like... my brother.

Little does she know Ed and Al are actually related...Ed just gave Al the seat of Crown Prince. princessalfons July 27 2008, 21:31:38 UTC
But the Prince is Alphonse Elric!

Someone like Edward could never be related to someone like the Prince...

...Well, there are worlds in which we're not related, it seems. Not many though. ^^;

Oh, thank God.

If Edward was in fact Royalty...

...

I would have feared for the future of our Kingdom.

Why's that?

Edward Heiderich is horribly rude.

Just because I study Physics, he has to call me stupid...because Alchemy is true science.

But it's not. It's a kind of Magic. Anyone who calls it science hasn't taken proper science classes, and hasn't read a real book in their lives.

....magic can be scientific......

Magic is magic.

Science is Science.

They're two sides of the same coin, but not the same side of the same coin. You can't have one without the other because they're opposites, but you also can't assume that they're the same, either.

Edward seems to think it's a legitimate science, but Alchemy was one of the units we covered in Magic Class, not in my scientific studies.

Trust me. They DO overlap. More than one would think. It all depends on the application.

It doesn't in my world.

Science and magic are two totally different things.
