its been a while..
a long while it has been.. well over 2 months im sure.. i dont even know where to start.. i guess im doing alright.. not going to school this semester cause i was thinking about moving back home but didnt want to move till my lease at my apartment was up because i didnt want to leave my roomie here alone.. he and i are really good friends and possibly could be my best friend.. its crazy.. when i lived at home and was always with my friends there i never thought i could make friends like i have here.. if i got married today i have no idea who i would ask to be my best man.. wow.. i am really blessed to have friends like i do.. and if i do move home i dont know what is going to happen with my friends down here.. i know we would keep intouch and id come and visit them but it would just be real hard to not have what i have had for this long.. but i was in the same boat when i moved away from all my friends back at home.. well anyway...
last weekend me and martin and nathan were going to memphis friday nite to go to the incubus concert.. well i woke up friday morning at about ten and started drinking as soon as i got up.. nathan got to our apartment at like noonish and we started drinking.. martin woke up and he was still drunk from the nite before.. well we hung out around the apartment till about 230 we then began our venture to memphis.. we drove to a town on the way to stop and get some alcohol for our ride.. we grabbed a bottle of rum to go with the existing one we arleady had and the 18 pack of beer.. well we finished most of the rum off on the ride.. when we got to memphis it was about 445ish mainly because we took so much time at the liquor store and getting gas and you know all that stuff.. well we get there.. find a place to park.. on our walk to beale street we see a mass of people in some courtyard.. we look a little harder and see that it is roy jones getting weighed in for his fight there the next nite.. then we get on beale street as soon as we can.. martin and i are both of age but nathan is just a young pup at a fresh 20.. as soon as we get on beale we buy three big ass beers at some stand thing on the street.. well we go to this club at about 5 to get some dinner and some drinks.. well when we walk up to go in this guy at the door asks us if we want to buy wristbands for the nite to get into all the clubs for no cover.. so of course we do just to try to get nathan on after the concert.. well anyway we are at dinner and i order a round of jager bombs like i usually do whenever im at a bar.. well one led into about 5.. then we had our dinner.. our bill was like $100.. after dinner we just walked up and down the street stopping at other booths buying drinks.. well we finally start walking to where the concert was.. it was about a mile plus but we were drunk so we didnt care.. we got to the show and the opening band was just getting off stage so we were just in time.. the first thing we do after we found our seats was go buy some beer.. i had no idea how much a beer cost me till about two days ago.. i was so wasted.. it was awesome.. i was all over the stands.. walking up and down the seats meeting just random people.. the concert was great.. i was rockin out.. well until a herd of cops came down and escorted me up the stairs to the entrance area.. they were wanting to arrest me because some girl said that i grabbed her face and shook her.. it was so stupid because i was just giving people high fives and stuff just enjoying myself.. i was really upset that someone said that.. well anyway i didnt end up going to jail but we left the concert and went back to beale street.. we got on there and i swear we were treated like royalty.. i swear we didnt have to wait in lines at any of the bars or clubs or anything.. it was awesome.. we went to about 8 of them.. the last place we went to was bb kings bar.. we get inside find us a table and glance over at the table next to us and see MJ from the real world philadelphia.. so we say hi and stuff and i pull up a chair and talk to him.. it was really cool meetin him.. he was a real nice guy.. well anyway at about 3ish we leave memphis and come back to jonesboro.. well when we get here im just completely wasted.. i called my friend krystal at like 430.. i couldnt believe she was still up.. we talked for like 30 minutes before i passed out on the phone..
havent drank since then.. probably a good thing.. but i had an awesome time.. one of the best times ive had in awhile.. it was really weird because the next nite martin and i were talking and i was like.. u know something wierd.. we didnt even hit on any girls.. it was really odd because i am like the biggest flirt.. and then when i have been drinking its a million times worse.. but i thought it was crazy but then again it was a guys nite and we were just having a good time so no big deal..
but i guess thats about it for now.. its getting late and im pretty tired and need to get my blanket and sheets outta the dryer to sleep on tonite.. but im going to try and update on a more regular basis now...
