Title: Don't Think About It Author: kryss_delrhei Series: Post-Brotherhood Word Count: 586 Rating: G Characters: Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye Summary: Life is short, but it's best not to think about it. Warnings: None
Hey, just want to let you know I added your username in the tags so that next time you can tag your name along with the prompt number! Haven't read your entry yet but I should be able to soon. :)
I liked that Roy and Riza came for the Elrics, even though they didn't know Pinako well enough to be disturbed by her passing. I also liked that Roy felt guilty that he wasn't upset.
Thank you!! I really do feel that Winry might have possibly extended an invitation, even if they didn't know Pinako well. And because they didn't know her, Roy felt not sadness just guilt that he held no emotion towards it. I also feel that funerals really bother Roy, just my little opinion. :)
As much as Roy can change Amestris for the better and has been able to change it, he can not change the fact that people still die. And I feel that in the end, death bothers him even if he doesn't show sadness for someone's passing. :)
This is your first FMA fan fic? Congratulations! I think that you gave it that FMA feel with insights into Roy and Riza. And, yes, any death, even that of a very old person, makes one wonder what the heck it is all about.
Thank you! And yes, I just signed up on a whim and this is the very first FMA fan fic. Hehe. I'm glad that I hit the nail on the head with my first try!
