I really liked this. I love the idea of Izumi and Sig getting married only four days after meeting. It seems like something they would do.

I had some real life friends who met and married after three days, and that was after she had to divorce her husband who was in prison at the time. She said she would have married the new guy the same day but it took 72 hrs for the divorce to go through. And they were married for 24 years when she passed away of cancer.

Glad you liked it, I think I'd like to write more of them soon :)

Wow! Wanting to marry on the day they met and they ended up staying together till her death! I've never heard of such thing. I've always gone by the standard "Wait two years before marrying the person, that'll give you enough time to get to know them."
What were the circumstances for getting married so quickly?

She told me there was just an explosive spark of chemistry between them. He was a member of a bar band, and it was like literally love at first sight. He asked her to dance with him when the band took a break and they talked, and then when it was closing time, they went to White Castle and had a bite to eat and he spent the night with her. When he left in the morning he told her he'd be playing again at the bar that night and if she was interested in seeing him again to come up again. She went up there again and that night he had his toothbrush in his shirt pocket, and she asked what that was about, and he said because I'm moving in and I can't live without my toothbrush. That next morning, she filed for divorce, and three days later they were married. She said it was literally like she'd known him in another life, like she'd known him since the day he was born. And he told me he never wanted to marry anyone ever before and he just knew when he danced with her that she was the one. I often wonder about him because I've lost ( ... )

Gah! That's so romantic!
That's so sad about your friend. Well, she lives on in your heart.
Don't worry, I like books. :)
