This made em feel so sad for Maria. It must have been one hell of an experience, having your superior killed, being accused of his murder, stage an execution and then running off to another country altogether. Maria definitely needs more love.

I've been wanting to try my hand at writing FMA for a while, and Maria seemed one of the easier characters to try. I do quite like her though, so perhaps I'll try writing some more of her.

Ahh, can't believe I didn't comment on this yet! This is really very good. That last line is just wonderful, in a beautifully angsty way. ;_; Poor Maria. Forces just conspired against her and she couldn't do a thing.
