When we post, are we meant to identify ourselves in any way? How does the person it's meant for know that the fic is for them, since this is double blind?
I'm going out of town this weekend, so I was thinking I would try to post what I have of my fic on Thursday or early Friday (there is absolutely no chance that I'll finish before the deadline, but I imagine the 12k that I've written will satisfy until I can complete it).
There is a template here which tells you how to post your work (and yes, you do include your artist/author name, as well as your prompt. Hopefully, your prompter will recognize his/her prompt).
Posting early is absolutely acceptable. I can't imagine someone being disappointed with 12k words, personally, as a start. :D
Okay. I'll get that edited and post before I go. I'd rather post early than late!
I think I've got maybe 9k words to go. Man, how do I get myself into these things? I seem to keep thinking I should just write a quick novella, in between working on my novel and whatever other things I'm doing.
