Ha! I'd wondered if it was you. Although, I actually thought not, since you've written so many stories that could match this prompt. I know my future-FMA-verse is fairly different to yours. :)

yes, I was less creative this time out than I could have been with the prompts. I think I have homecoming on the t-b-r pile too. I like seeing different takes on FMA's future

I was happy to get the prompt! I was lovely for me to have something so broad; it let me write something that I'd sort of been wanting to write anyway. Well, I hadn't had this in my head, actually, but as soon as I saw the prompt, bam, there it was. And then I felt like I was writing my thing (which hopefully you would like) instead of your thing, and it's always nice when that happens.

On the other hand, it also means that I wrote such a huge thing that I couldn't finish, so there's that.

On the OTHER hand, maybe I'll finish before you're done traveling? I can hope. :)

I have like, two or three ideas I've already been saving for the next big bang. And the last two times I've started writing "just a short story" it ended up accidentally being 20k+. So I think I'll be fine. We'll see.

and I'm enjoying this. I got up to ch 7. I like the idea of Roy needing Ed's help to set up shop in Resembol and I love the hesitant romance between him and Riza

Thank you! That romance between Roy and Riza was hellishly difficult to write. But then I sort of figured that the awkwardness was right for them at that moment and tried to embrace it.
