“What are you talking about?” Ed squirmed, trying to see his assailant. He could just make out a silhouette moving in the dark.
“You’re beautiful, just like her. I could have her back,”
“Have who back, you psycho?”
“My girlfriend, Amalie. She died long ago and I’ve been trying to find a way to bring her back ever since.”
“You can’t bring back the dead,” Ed’s eyes widened, wondering just what this man had in mind.
“Of course not, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make a replacement. After all, you look so very much like her,” he purred, sickeningly close to Edward’s ear.
“Ohhhh no. I don’t think that’s such a great idea,” Ed squirmed against his bonds, wishing he could work his hands just a bit closer together.
“And why is that, darling?”
“I’m NOT your darling. I don’t know if you’ve noticed this but I’m a GUY. I CAN’T be your girlfriend.”
“I’m failing to see where this is a problem.”
“To be your girlfriend, I’d have to be a girl” Ed spoke matter of factly, unable to figure out how this person could be so very dense.
“In due time, my dear. In due time,” footsteps moved further away in the dark and Ed truly panicked now, sure that something bad was going to happen if he didn’t get away, and soon.

Roy frowned as he stepped off the train, running his hands wearily through his hair. He didn’t know what had possessed him to come out here at the word of a missing Fullmetal, but he did know there had better be a damn good reason that Ed had not reported in himself. He forced a smirk back on his face when he caught sight of Al, shifting nervously amongst the crowd.
“Any luck finding him?” Roy demanded.
“No, not really,” Al admitted.
“Hmm…”
“I don’t understand it. He said he was going to talk to an alchemist, Mr. Simms I think, about some rather strange disappearances, but when I knocked on the door I didn’t get an answer. I looked all over town and I just can’t find him anywhere. This isn’t like him…” Al was starting to sound frantic and Roy immediately hushed him for fear that the emotion might be contagious.
“We’ll find him. Isn’t that what I came out here for?” Roy asked.
“Y…yes. I just… I hope he’s okay.”
“I’m sure he’s fine,” Mustang assured Ed’s younger brother, though in reality he wasn’t sure at all.

“Where is that alchemist’s home?” Roy finally asked.
“This way,” Al led him to the home and stood back as Mustang rapped his knuckles against the door. There was no answer so he knocked again.
Finally, succumbing to irritation, Roy invited himself in, immediately put off by the eerie silence throughout the house. A dim light shone from the basement and he moved toward it.
“Mr. Simms!” he called, listening for any sign of life. Lacking any answer, he started down the stairs, halting when he caught sight of a blond pile on the floor.
“Edward?” he ran the rest of the way down the stairs, keeping an ear out for Ed’s captor as he knelt to undo the younger alchemist’s bindings.

“I’m sure you realize sir, that you have apprehended a state alchemist,” Roy smirked, gloved hand hidden safely in his pocket, poised to snap on a moment’s notice.
“I can’t help that. He’s perfect. He’ll look just like her and I’ll have my Amalie back,” the man practically whimpered as he swung what, upon closer inspection, was a broken chair leg.
Reply
“Don’t step there!” he held up the chair leg to swing again, and Mustang took the opportunity to snap, charring the wood upon contact and nearly singeing the man’s hands.
In a desperate move, Mr. Simms leapt forward, pressing his hands to an array on the floor and activating it beneath Roy’s feet. As it began to light up, he saw that Ed was bound in the middle of it and moved to shove him off the circle before it was too late.
Light and energy exploded from the array, drowning the entire room with power. In only an instant, the light had died back down, shrouding the world in darkness.
“Brother!” Ed was roused from his place on the floor by Al untying the knots that had held him. He was a little shaken, but otherwise okay, a fact for which he was supremely grateful. The armored brother had brought help while Roy handled the alchemist and Ed’s assailant was quickly apprehended and led off.
“Thanks Colonel. I thought I was a goner for a minute there,” Ed spoke with genuine appreciation as he rubbed at all the places made sore by his bindings. Roy’s figure lay silent where the circle had been and Fullmetal frowned in concern.
“Colonel?” Ed asked a little louder. The only reaction was a quiet, miserable grown. He wasn’t sure if his superior was hurt or not. Warily, he moved closer, afraid to touch the man in case he was truly hurt.
“You okay?” He asked, blinking in surprise as Al found a light. Roy lay quietly on the floor, dark hair drooping over his face, stomach flat against the concrete.
“The things I do for you two,” Mustang muttered, attempting to sit up once before sinking back to the floor.
“Are you hurt?” Ed asked once more.
“I’m fine,” Roy’s eyes widened at the sound of his own voice, higher pitched than normal.
“You don’t sound fine,” Ed insisted.
“I…” Roy said nothing as he brushed the dust off his uniform, hands rising over two mounds that most definitely did NOT belong on his chest.
“Colonel?”

“I… I have to get back to Central,” for the first time in all the years Ed had known Roy, the man’s mask had truly dropped, blank expression lost in favor of pure, unadulterated, shock.
“What’s the matter?”
“It’s nothing,” Roy insisted, glaring hard at Edward in an attempt to hide his surprise at his current situation, “I’ll meet you back at the hotel.”
“Uhhh… okay,” Ed shrugged. Figures that Roy would leave him to clean up the mess anyway.
“Goodbye Fullmetal.”
“Bye…” Ed paused for a moment, “And Colonel?”
“What is it?” Roy called from the top of the stairs.
“You sound like a girl,” Ed barely stifled his laughter as the basement door slammed, leaving Ed and Al to take care of things.

What was he going to do? Roy paced the hotel room, wondering at his options. Maybe he could just not go back to Central right now. There was no way Hawkeye would accept that though. What was he going to do, call in female?
He could always try to find a way to change back. If only he’d paid more attention to human arrays, maybe, just maybe he’d know how. Well… he could always ask for Edward’s help.
No, that was out of the question. Ed couldn’t know what had happened. He’d never live it down. The more Roy thought about it though, the more it seemed the only option left.

”And you’re a girl,” his mind helpfully reminded him. So what? Just because he was female didn’t make him any less in control than before. He turned a critical eye on his…her reflection in the mirror as hands pulled off the uniform top and button down shirt. Definitely beautiful, just as it should be. She was just a little shorter than her original self had been, soft curves in all the right places, voluptuous breasts that just begged to be touched, hips that begged to be fucked.
She laughed to herself. Ed would have passed out by now. For as forceful as he was about everything else, Fullmetal was so very shy about women. Maybe he’d have to fix that.
What am I thinking? Roy started at his own line of thought, equally disturbed by the fact that he wanted to be that close to Ed as he was by the fact that their relationship as commanding officer and subordinate, that Ed was only 16, that none of that bothered her at all.

Unconsciously, gentle fingers brushed down over a newly female torso, unbuttoning military pants with practiced ease. She’d practically been swimming in her uniform and it immediately pooled at her feet. Only when she was naked did the full gravity of the situation kick in.
Unable to stand looking at that telltale reflection, Roy moved away from the mirror, easing nervously onto the bed.
“This can’t be me,” she murmured allowed, refusing to believe it as her palms slid over her breasts, sending a pleasured jolt down her spine. This was wrong, all wrong… and it wasn’t supposed to feel so good.
Tentatively, she explored lower, fingers skimming the milky skin of her torso, nails combing soothingly through the dark curls at her groin. Sucking in a deep breath, she stroked the place where other equipment belonged, fingers delving shakily between her folds.
Roy gasped at the sensation, breath quickening as the pads of her fingers skimmed her inner lips.

Her thumb worked slowly over he clit, as she got to know every nuance of her new body, It was so new and felt so good, she sighed aloud in pleasure. She racked her brain, trying to remember other things the women she’d bedded seemed to like, and, biting her lip, she slid a single finger within herself, moaning in pleasure and surprise at the warmth and wetness of it all.
One, then two fingers pumped in and out and she barely noticed as her mind drifted, wondering what it would be like to have steel digits inside her instead, how Ed would look and feel and taste. She wanted it so bad he body ached and strained against her fingers, thumb working furiously over her clit.
She came with a low cry and a moan of Ed’s name before falling back, utterly exhausted, on the pillows.

Ed’s eyes widened at the sounds that came from the next room. Was the Colonel…saying his name?
“Did you hear something, brother?” Al asked.
“N..no… Nothing at all.”

You know part of what's fun about this? The fact that Roy, who is normally Mr. "I Know Everything/I Can Handle Everything" gets messed with. In the field, Ed is more experienced in flailing himself in and out of trouble. Now the tables are turned... XD
