Letters to classmates
Classmate in front of me: I do not want to watch you resize a photo on facebook to give your boobs maximum spotlight during the TA's lecture. Stop that.
Also, classmate next to me, who only shows up to the lectures in which we have quizzes and usually leaves right after said quizzes--this class meets twice a week. There have only been 5 quizzes. It's your own damn fault if you miss things; stop asking me whether thing x is due on day y and which chapters we covered in lecture whenever you do show up. First, it's on the syllabus; second, it's not my job to tell you things you would already know if you showed up to class once in a while and stayed here for more than fifteen minutes. Not everyone who sits in the back is a loser like you. Some of us just don't like people looking at what we're typing over our shoulders when it includes things like "why do my classmates suck" amidst the copious notes.
And yeah, you're real hot shit for reading the answers to the TA's questions right off of the paper we were assigned to read. I'm sure that requires the absolute maximum amount of mental activity you are capable of putting out.
(Hint: that's not a compliment.)
