Wednesday is a Wednesday
It's a Wednesday.
It becomes more and more obvious the more I look around. People are dozing in chairs with their heads resting on their hands. There's a man with earbuds in at one of the desks who is somehow managing to eat a salad morosely, and the guy next to me is staring at his laptop with his eyes half-closed like he's in a daze. Half of the people in this room look like their headphones are the only thing keeping them clinging to life right now, and half are dozing with textbooks or laptops open in front of them. Some small percentage of the room belongs to both halves.
All I have to say is, thank god Starbucks is included in the meal plan. I've got twenty ounces of coffee flowing through my veins right now; bring it the fuck on.
I finished my take-home calculus test last night, which was no small feat--a single problem took me upwards of two hours. I eventually had to look up guidelines on how to do it (not cheating--the prof told us we could use whatever resources we wanted), and even then I kept coming up with the wrong answer. Fun stuff. I think I did okay in the end, though.
Buying a used car from a friend is, it turns out, a huge fucking hassle. But whatever; at the end of it I'll have a car, so.
And yeah. I've been absurdly busy, but I decided to borrow a half hour from my homework time to post something here, 'cause it's been a while since I said anything substantial.
