He went completely the wrong way about that vendetta of his, and I still snapped his collarbone just because he's an idiot. *feels like he should've hurt him more, but something about the fact that he had a daughter and a family really got to him*

*averts his eyes* I know, I know. I just - fuck, I just thought it'd be worth it. Just more corrupt soldiers and shit that needed to be dealt with. But the bastard was just this, this stupid guy whose niece got killed and- It was stupid. He was stupid, I was stupid, and I was so pissed off with his insults that I- *stops, realizing he's beating himself up over it again* Halfway I didn't think I'd do it, but I did.

As for your trial? We'll just tell them the truth. I'm really well known for being - as Al puts it - reckless, impulsive and brash. And knowing those old guys, they'd probably let me off the hook.

*nods slowly* Yeah... I'd kinda been hoping to get in a broken rib to the other guy, but... *shrugs shallowly* I won't. He'll get fished out and put on trial all the same.

*wants to correct Mal that it's not so much that he hurt the captain that upsets him than it is the fact that he has that whole family unit going on and he's taking a parent away from his child, but refrains and keeps quiet. scowls when Mal gets to that last part* ...Then I guess his new broken collarbone is well-deserved. *manages a slight smirk* That does sorta make me feel better about it.
