I would hate to think that House would do anything deliberately to sabotage her pregnancy, whether he wanted to have kids with her or not, but it would be totally consistent with his character for him to insist on termination if he feels that Cuddy's life is in danger.I agree, he would insist on termination if Cuddy's life was endangered by it but otherwise I can not see him ever trying to sabotage her pregnancy in anyway. He knows how long and hard she tried to get pregnant and how heartbroken she was when she couldn't. If House really loves her, he wouldn't want to see her go through with it again ( ... )

I really don't think that there will be a Huddy baby. If she does get pregnant, I see it ending in tragedy.

And I totally agree with you, dreaming of the future means that Cuddy wants or fears to have certain things happen, but it doesn't mean anything about the longevity of their relationship.

Yikes. Cancer is another possibility. It doesn't really fit in with the "Gone with the Wind" spoiler, though. Unless Cuddy is like Melanie dying, leaving Scarlett (House) to be with Ashley (Wilson). But re: pgrabia's comment above, a terminal diagnosis would provide the motivation for House and Cuddy to get married so that he can become Rachel's legal guardian.

I don't believe Cuddy is going to die or that the show is going to kill her off. We've already seen them work in the hospital when things are really bad between them--maybe not this bad--and it's never as dramatic as the press release presents it.

"ON AN ALL-NEW HOUSE, HOUSE FACES A CHALLENGE THAT WILL CHANGE HIM FOREVER/TEST HIM LIKE NEVER BEFORE/THAT COULD MEAN THE END OF CIVILIZATION AS WE KNOW IT."

Ya know?

TOTALLY.

I also doubt that Cuddy is going to die. I do think that TPTB will put her life in danger in 7X15 in order to generate drama. And I also think that she will leave House and PPTH by the end of this season.

Jeez - you don't have to sound so surprised - hee:) To tired to add anything else...but God, it's not looking good for Cuddy, is it?

Ha ha! I'm not surprised that YOU in particular might have been right ;). (Nor am I surprised that I am probably going to turn out to be wrong!) I'm just tickled that we now have more data supporting an intriguing hypothesis.

Cuddy getting pregnant definitely makes sense. The press release reveals that she will get sick, and with all of the pregnancy issues Cuddy has had in the past, it would make sense for her to be sick due to a pregnancy. I agree with pgrabia, I think that House would want Cuddy to terminate the child if he/she endangered Cuddy's life ( ... )

Interesting point about the birth defects. Except I think that House would argue to terminate and Cuddy to carry to term, and if she gave in, she'd feel terribly guilty and blame him. (I know, I'm totally obsessed with this idea that something horrible is going to happen and Cuddy's going to blame House.)

I think it would be really, really weird for Cuddy or Wilson to be killed off, but, readingrat makes a lot of good points of the attraction it would have for the writers to kill Cuddy off...
I believe that Cuddy will leave the House/PPTH/the show, but not that she will be killed off. That will be enough drama for the writers, I think. On the other hand, Kutner was killed mainly because Kal Penn wanted to take another job, so if RSL decides he wants to return to Broadway for good...

I've heard that one character will die this season though. I have no idea who it will be.
I also remember DS saying that OW was coming back for S8 (assuming that there is one).

Maybe it's Masters?
We can only hope ;).

I know they are still together in 7x16 and I think even after that. However...if House does argue to terminate and Cuddy doesn't want to, but goes along with it anyway (which, I agree is more likely)...she might grow to resent him, and blame him, causing their relationship to slowly fall apart even after they get married ( ... )

I really didn't like Thirteen, especially after her HD diagnosis, but Masters makes me miss her. Thankfully, we know that the latter is only temporary.
