This fic was obviously making a particular argument re: the viability of Huddy, but I'm glad that Cuddy doesn't come across as being some kind of monster.
Since David Shore et al obviously based House on Holmes, it was an interesting exercise to try to get inside his head and figure out how he would act when attempting to solve a particularly thorny mystery - his own character.
And of course, I also enjoyed revisiting House and Wilson's history and showing why House's assumption, while mistaken, was a reasonable one to make. The couch scene (I'm assuming you mean the one where House first tries to kiss Wilson) was one of the first ones to be written, and I enjoyed it a lot, too ;).
