Modern day pay it forward

So the other day at moxies, an older man came in for breakfast, and he loved the service and food so much he came back and told his server just how much he enjoyed it.
He then gave her $100.
He wanted the money to pay for the meals of two other couples, or two other families that she was going to serve breakfast too that morning. He left it up to her to decide which two tables would get $50 dollars each towards their bill, and whatever was left over was her tip money.

She told me all about it when I showed up to work the lunch shift that day, and she's such a sweetheart that I just know she picked the right people to give it to.

Over lunch, another man walked in and came up to me at the hostess stand. He had a letter that he wrote to thank the anonymous man that bought him and his family breakfast. He told me I could read the letter if I want, but if I ever saw the man again I had to be sure to give it to him.

I read the letter and it was the most amazing thing ever. We never saw the anonymous man again.
