My labwork results are in. I didn't really pay attention to all of them, just my A1C, which was 7.2 in May and is now at 6.5! Yay. Definitely a result I can be happy with. See my doctor on Thursday. Next round of labwork will be in 6 months. Hubby has not got an official report yet on the CT scan of his throat, but he looked at the online stuff and the radiologist is recommending an Endoscopy. Didn't think there were any malignacies though.
Just finished book 47 of the year, "Rock, Paper, Scissors" by Alice Feeney. It was good, mostly. There was a plot twist that caught me off guard. I didn't like the ending, but overall not a bad book. It is a thriller. On target to reach my 50 book goal.
It was a hot cocoa and book kind of day today
Wednesday is my daughters birthday; Friday is mine and Saturday is my 39th wedding anniversary. My son's birthday is Dec 6th, so this time of year, especially when the kids were little, could be very chaotic, especially when you have a tight budget. Its easier now that they are both grown though.
Colder weather is here to stay it seems. I have an hour and a half drive Thursday to the VA for my appointment and I am not a fan of driving in snow/ice so watching the forecast carefully to see if I want hubby to drive me.
