(no subject)
I really like this site, obviously, since I am still here after all the years (excluding some breaks). But it is more and more frustrating that outside of the people I currently follow, it is hard to find communities and people that I'd like to get to know better. I can search interests, but everything is outdated. I do visit the add me groups from time to time. I know part of the problem is the payment problems everyone has....it keeps people away.
As the end of the year will be upon us before we know it, I will probably do an end of the year cleanup of my profile. Freshen it up a bit.
Have a few penpal letters to reply to, but didn't write any today. Pretty much just messed around on the computer all day (and I did a little laundry). Since there is no mail service tomorrow, perhaps I can get one or 2 letters written. That's the plan. Have birthday cards and anniversary cards to get out, but none on hand, so will use my SendOutCards account to send them out. They will print them out Tuesday and ship them. I am not planning to get to the store until at least Thursday so if I wait, they will be late.
Just got ANOTHER text today about registering to vote. I am registered. I've checked. Each text is from a different number. This political season is crazy. I will be so glad when it's over.
I've got lasagna in the oven (a frozen one....still need to grocery shop after our trip). I'm actually not very hungry, so will just have a small piece.
Hoping to get back to the treadmill in the mornings starting tomorrow. I'll set my clothes out before bed. My motivation is there for now. Tomorrow is also the day I step on the scale to see if my eating less is affecting my weight in any way. Had a relative tell me recently that I looked like I lost weight....so, I will take that compliment and use it to motivate me further. I should use this journal for my accountability too.
