spring break
home is amazing. today is my mom's birthday and we've been cooking all day, the house smells wonderful and makes me never want to leave.
i applied for an internship at Time Warner and I think I have a good chance and getting it. if so, that means i'll be moving to new york for the summer to work full-time. ...always a delicious time of year to be living in the city.
not looking forward to starting back at school on monday. nor am i excited to be getting a shot at the doctor's on tuesday and taking a trip to unconscious-ville. i also have to write a twenty page paper on the city's affect on the poet. haven't started yet and am not thrilled.
but i do have some great trips to look forward to: weekend at a beach house, road trip to new orleans, visit to chicago! all in the next two months! it will be even more exciting if my registrar would get back to me and tell me that i am definitely on the graduation list for this spring. as always, i am the one student that slips between the proverbial cracks and finds her way off the list. put me back on!
saw funny games the other night with my sister. SO GOOD. finally got my bridesmaid's dress and am now way more excited than ever for Tina's wedding!
i miss nik desperately.
