So, my day was kinda good. But it felt great, because it was the first really enjoyable day I've had in a while.
I woke up, rain. meh. Just a light sprinkle which ended soon. Happy Jed. Caught the bus, caught the subway. And outside the subway, missionaries are giving out free granola bars, with a note say "from God, no strings attached". Good, I was worried God might get me somehow.
10:30, Boomerangs in Brighton. My new part time job. I work with 2 girls, both cute and artistic. 2 guys, one nice, one asdklfjasglkja;gl aeio[hj (that translates into damn sexy). Tall, bright blue eyes, dark hair with great eyebrows, big hands, tragus piercing, and just plain yummy. His name...Dusty. It just sounds so cowboy. I'll like him being my boss
11:30, eye doctor's appointment. I so need new contacts. I got this awesome new eye doctor. She's young, cute, asian, and finds me irrestible. We spent the hour just talking and laughing. I trademarked a new saying for her to use on patients, and she helped me with my new pick-up line. "I have tiny red cataracts. wanna have sex?" However, it worked too well. She asked me out. I politely declined, and felt bad, b/c I would have totally gone for her if I hated dick. However, she gave me lots of free samples of color contacts! I love her muchly. And she gave me a free pair of Night and Day Monthly disposables, which I think will be my new eye-wear. They feel so good.
Comic book store was having a huge sale! Em, if you want to get caught up in SIP, let me know. I've got the ones we've missed.
The Other Job was ok, nothing great. Oh, but I got a fancy hotel in Las Vegas to donate a 3 day stay. Yay, me!
And then home, to finish up the home-made cookies, and chat with my boyfriend.
Then a nummy dinner, involving healthy chicken, baked potato dripping in butter, and a huge artichoke, with lots of garlic, melted butter, and lemon juice. Happy belly
