Yeah it's nice that it's so far away. A good experience even if I will miss home! And esp with Salford it's so far away that I can't come home all the time... though there are downsides to it too. I sort of wish there was a close uni that did the course I wanted near my home so I could save money and live at home, but then it's not quite the same experience if you get what I mean. I want to go and have my own 'house', yet know that I'm not all alone and the support is there if I need it (from the uni).
Flatsharing!! That'll be brilliant. I'm planning halls for first year, sharing second and third year abroad... fourth year I have no idea. Maybe have to go halls? No idea!
My secondary school was a 'language college' so we had to do two languages. I ended up doing three and just stuck with French. Needed to fill up an option for college haha! It was good though, really enjoyed it (and plus when we went on trips we got to go to the christmas markets in Bruges and just eat tonnes of chocolate which was lovely!). But I would love to read something like the Euripides in their proper language. I love the myths and legends and just yeah. One day I shall read them all!!
What's so filthy about Aristophanes? I would google, but it's more interesting to hear it from you! I prefer it when people who are passionate about it explain it to me!
Ah that's a bit annoying :/ but yay for flat shares!! I bet you'll be glad of that next year!! And well, my nan goes a bit overboard. She did it last time I started uni and bought like a wok kit and random kitchen stuff and I know she'll do it again xD I love it. Also charity shops! I bought tonnes of random kitchen crap from charity shops too. Ahh cheapskate living. Go to love it!
Hah omg In Bruges has to be one of my favourite films. And well... I've been where they all stood/died? It's really pretty there and yeah... unless you go market times it's fuck boring.
Thank you! I'll definitely have to check your recs out <3
Lol Aristophanes sounds amazing. He sounds like a cool guy to hang out with, if it were possible to go back and hang with dead people.
