Arthur began to trace his own shapes, odd disjointed letters like the ones he remembered on the Round Table of the Fallen Kings. I love that they're kind of comforting each other with this.

No matter the wrongs that had been done against her, could she not have seen past that? This is a question I've always had about Morgana. =/

answering to Arthur's request as he had done so many times before, this time spelling out 'Arthur and Merlin' for the world to see on the back of Arthur's hands. The words soaked through Arthur's skin, into his blood, carrying straight to Arthur's heart. That is so wonderful and sweet; I feel like they're getting closer and closer and just... gah. <3

It drew a smile from Merlin, his fingers tapping lightly against Arthur's knuckles in reprimand for interrupting his story. I really enjoy this soft, honest Merlin that comes with honesty.

Merlin took a shaky breath, fingers sliding back between Arthur's, sealing tightly together. "It's like you said; you can't dwell on these things. It's done." This is lovely

Leaning into one another, offering silent support with touches and small smiles and hand holding are physical manifestations of their trust of one another. Arthur opening himself to loving Merlin is beautifully realized.

I haven't watched the last three episodes of last season yet (I've been savoring because it's such a long wait before we get season 4 here), so I have to take a break and watch them.
