thoughts on the new version of itunes.
The new interface is very counter-intuitive.
Having to click in the upper right corner for the mini-player instead of the top left (like every other program in OS X) boggles the mind. We're suddenly trying to emulate a windows environment?
In the main music library.. the column browser. . . Well.. it's not really columns anymore. It's now a row of columns which are very wide and not aesthetically pleasing, clunky to use as well.
I haven't been able to get past the interface problems to even delve into trying out any new features that may have been introduced so I can't comment on them.
To sum up. New version is clunky, ugly, awkward and not user-friendly at all.
