Hong Kong (22nd - 28th Dec '06)
And So it was... Bruce, Renne(Tristan's Sister) and I flew to Hong Kong to spend our Christmas. Well, like what they said over the TV ads, HK was really basically Eat Things - Buy Things - Eat Things - Buy Things. Just that for us, we added one other activity on our list - PARTYING. I think we've managed to party the first half of 2007 in advance in HKG.
The weather was great just around 15degs. And this is what i love about cool countries with seasons or "seasons". YOu get to play dress up with nice coats and scarves and all. The first night out we noticed a big difference. For Singapore gay men, less is more and more gets u stares but in HK its the other way round. They are just dressed to the nines.
Its not my first trip to HK but i really enjoyed myself much more this time round. Made many wonderful friends and not to mention gorgeous friends over there. People this time over were really friendly and warm as compared to my last trip. Oh and i met a few Singaporeans there too. Haha.
I'll just roughly give u a breakdown of our itinery in HK over 6days and 5nights and you can take a picture tour by clicking on the picture below to take a look at what the 3 of us did. - Reach HK at 8.40pm and checked into hotel (9.30pm)
- Bathed and got changed and went out to meet friends at some dinner party that was held at Rice Bar (10.15pm)
- Went over to M Bar( a.k.a Mei Lan Fang Bar) to check it out (12.30am)
- Went over to Propaganda (1.30am)
- Went to hotel to shag (6am)
- Sleep (9am)
- Woke up to go lunch at Times Square (1pm)
- Shopping at Times Square and around the area (2pm)
- Went back to hotel to rest (5pm)
- Went to meet friends to check out the pubs and ktv bars (8pm)
- Went to Dinner first (9pm)
- Went to Lab KTV (10.30pm)
- Went to Works (11.30pm)
- Went to M Bar (12am)
- Went to Rice Bar (12.45am)
- Went to Propaganda (1.30am)
- Went to Tin Hau for White Party (2am)
- Went to Central for Morning Class (4am)
- Went to shag (6am)
- Sleep (9am)
- Woke up to go eat lunch (3pm)
- Came back to hotel to rest (4.15pm)
- Went to friends hotel room to have Champagne party[ and trash their room so we wouldnt need to pack ours :p] (7pm)
- Went to some str8 place so we could shake off some BOY our friend took back as a trick (10pm)
- Went to M Bar (11.30pm)
- Went to Propaganda (1.30am)
- Went to Sin Bar for White Party part 2 (3am) [THE PARTY GOT RAIDED AND THE BLOODY POLICE TREATED US LIKE 103rd CLASS FUCKING CITIZENS]
- Went for supper (4.30am)
- Went to Central for Morning Class (5am)
- Went back to hotel to sleep (7am)
- Woke up (1pm)
- Went down to Times Square to meet friend to go Ocean Park[because HK Disneyland is filled with ugly China ppl tht SPIT onto floors and bring their babies to PEE INSIDE THE FUCKING WISHING WELL!!!] (2.15pm)
- Went for Lunch (2.30pm)
- Went to Ocean Park (4pm)
- Went for dinner (8.30pm)
- Went back to hotel to change to party (10pm)
- Went to Lan Kwai Fong to meet friend and his international buffet spread (12.30am)
- Went to M bar (1.15am)
- Headed down to Propaganda (2am)
- Went for supper (5am)
- Headed back to hotel to sleep (6am)
- Woke up (1pm)
- Went to Cali[fornia Fitness for those who are still blur] (1.30pm)
- Went to shag (3pm)
- Went to Central to shop and have tea and meet friend (5pm)
- Went to Mongkok to have dinner (8.30pm)
- Shopped around (10pm)
- Went back to hotel's bar to have a drink (11pm)
- Decided to go out partying with the hotel staff after they finished work (2am)
- Went supper (2.30am)
- Went to Insomia at Lan Kwai Fong (3am)
- Went back hotel to sleep (6am)
- Decided to go for breakfast at the hotel (6.45am)
- Really went to sleep (7.30am)
- Woke up to go Macau (11am)
- Went to shop at Lane Crawford Building (5pm)
- Went back to hotel to meet up (8pm)
- Went to The Peak (9pm)
- Had Dinner at Tian Yi Resturant at the peak tower (9.30pm)
- Went to M bar (11.30pm)
- Went to Lab Ktv Pub (12.30am)
- Went back to hotel to pack and check out (5am)
- Had Breakfast at the hotel cafe (6.40am)
- Checked out and headed to the Airport Express (7.15am)
- Check into our flight and took the express train to the airport (8am)
- Boarded the flight (8.45am)
- Reached Singapore (1pm)
- SLEEP (3pm)
