I figured I should post something today since I graduated, just so I would remember the date for future grad school applications if for no other reason.
I skipped out on the big colleseum commencement with all the departments, which I heard was nothing to write home about from people who were there. I didn't really feel moved or anything during the departmental ceremony (the one I actually went to). People were asking me if I was excited or happy or whatnot, but I was pretty appathetic about it (which made those questions annoying, especially when people would follow up with "why not?"). I guess it didn't (and still hasn't) hit me that I was seeing most of those people, my biology homies, for the last time.
Afterwards we went to the Melting Pot, that fancy fondue restaurant that costs an arm and a leg. I am so stuffed right now that I had to unbutton my pants. While I was there I had a good-ass pineapple mojito, and my family somehow got onto the topic of how the world was created. This lead to my mom commenting, "Doesn't matter who created the world; whoever did it didn't put enough oil on it."
It was funny at the time, but it doesn't look that funny written down. I hate when something that seems all around funny turns out to be one of those 'you had to be there' things.

Edit: Oh and it was sunny (although windy), so suck that Mary.
