Is this funny, or am I just delirious?

My suitemate Jayce and I were talking about alcohol.  He was smelling one my other suitemate's rum that was in the refrigerator.  He said it smelled like pure ethanol, so I told him to smell my tequila.  This lead to the following exchange

but pfffft, i like straight tequila (well, with lime wedge and salt), and i'm pretty sure i don't come within a hundred yards of being an alcoholic.
